![]() Again, take it slow and go one tree at a time. We had success going to the left for about four trees and then slowly making our way forward through the forest. Don’t run because your torch will go out and you’ll need to light it again. If you notice the fog about to engulf you, quickly walk backwards until the fog lifts. What you’ll need to do is take it slow and go tree to tree. Link will have to make it through the woods with no lamps to protect him before the fog takes him back to the beginning. There is a torch waiting there for you, pick it up and light it. The second part of the puzzle begins between the two lamps. The final stop of the first section is the furthest, once you see the two lamps in the distance, just run for it before the fog gets you. As long as you follow them, the fog won’t engulf you. ![]() The first part has you follow the lighted lamps across the forest. There are two parts to The Lost Woods to get through. Once you make it to the Hyrule Forest, a thick fog accompanied by a girlish laugh will take you to the entrance of The Lost Woods. Before you go searching out the Master Sword you’ll need to be sure to have at least 13 Heart Containers, we’ll explain why in a bit. However, to get to the Master Sword you’ll need to cross the Lost Woods, which is a pain to do. Characters will drop hints about what Zelda did with it a century ago, and you’ll eventually figure out that the Master Sword is in the Great Hyrule Forest.
